Job summary
VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Otero County Detention Center in Alamogordo, NM. The LPN delivers quality care within the scope of practice, under supervision, and supports health promotion and restoration for offenders.
The position offers part-time, full-time, or PRN schedules with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Current NM LPN license and CPR certification are required.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possesses an active CPR certification.
- Remains knowledgeable about state laws governing practice.
Responsibilities
- The LPN delivers quality care within the scope of practice.
- Provides monitoring of patients as directed by supervisor or physician.
- Assists in teaching plans addressing health promotion and restoration.
- Administers medications to offenders.
- Provides care for multiple patients as directed by medical leadership.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws and policies.
