Job summary

Artis Senior Living in Olney, MD is seeking a Coordinator of Health & Wellness (LPN/LVN) to provide clinical monitoring for residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia and to ensure restorative, support, and preventive care in line with state laws.

You will lead assessments, care plans, and medication management while supervising CNAs and supporting residents' safety and dignity. Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred, and state CE credits are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess current LPN/LVN designation as granted by State Board of Nursing.
• Fulfill and maintain continuing education credits as required by state.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in resident assessments and daily care planning.
• Oversee and implement self-administered medication management.
• Administer medications and/or treatments to residents per physician orders.
• Document care provided and report resident observations including changes in condition.
• Provide emotional support, physical comfort and ensure ongoing safety of residents.
• Supervise Caregivers and CNAs in providing resident care per guidelines.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality service in a compassionate atmosphere.
• Assist in marketing the community by touring and participating in public relations events.
• Assist with resident move-ins and acclimation to new surroundings and staff.
• Performs other duties as required.
