Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in applicable state.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• BLS certification required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide care or arrange for appropriate care within nursing scope in the office setting.
• Document all patient care/interactions in the medical record.
• Participate in telephone triage and advise patients per protocols.
• Track and log ordered labs and tests; present results to provider.
• Pre-visit planning with provider and care team.
• Check vital signs, height, and weight.
• Review medication history and update medication list.
• Assist with procedures and instrument/room cleanup.
• Adhere to CLIA, TJC, DFS, and safety standards in practice.
• Assist with vaccine orders and inventory per regulations.
