Tacoma Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for PRN/Per Diem, Part-Time, and Full-Time roles in Washington state. The position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $40.00 to $49.00 per hour, depending on experience, with responsibilities including direct nursing care, medication administration, and care plan documentation.

You will monitor residents, document progress, and collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and families to ensure safe, person-centered

Qualifications

• Active Washington State LPN license.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift/maneuver up to 30 lbs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rules.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with care plans.
• Document assessments, care, and resident progress with precision and confidentiality.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Supervise and support CNAs in delivering quality care.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Participate in care planning and documentation.
• Educate residents and families on health-related concerns.
• Support and mentor CNAs in day-to-day care tasks.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.
