Job summary

The Palms at Plantation is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our resident care team in Plantation, Florida. You will provide direct nursing and individualized care, administer medications, and document each shift to ensure safety and quality of life for residents.

We value teamwork and patient-centered care, with opportunities for growth. Florida LPN license, current CPR, and at least 1 year of experience are preferred; next-day pay options are available.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or long-term care is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing and resident care per individualized plan.
• Administer medications according to standards and policies.
• Complete medication documentation and reporting.
• Perform resident assessments per state regulations and policy.
• Monitor residents and report changes to supervisor.
• Document observations and care activities by end of shift.
• Assist with development and maintenance of care plans.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and pharmacies.
• Support caregivers and fellow staff in care delivery.
• Promote dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Maintain professional, team-oriented approach.
