Job summary

The Good Shepherd Health & Rehabilitation Center in Ashland, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team. You will supervise CNAs, provide individualized care per residents' plans, assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and administer medications as ordered.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license in Ohio.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of CNAs.
• Provide individualized nursing care according to care plans.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Explain procedures to gain cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Record vital signs and maintain nursing notes.
• Prepare residents for continuing care after discharge.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care.
