Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Selma, AL to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform assessments, deliver treatments, and document care in the EMR to support safe, quality outcomes.

Once hired, you’ll follow the six medication rights, collaborate with the nursing team, and adapt care to individual patient needs, including pain management and routine vitals, with a focus on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Must hold an active LPN/LVN license in Alabama.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and pain levels; report changes.
• Administer medications per the six rights and document administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and other caregivers to plan care.
• Record assessments and interventions in the EMR.
