Job summary

Liberty Health Blowing Rock, NC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for The Foley Center at Chestnut Ridge. You will assist in directing nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and support the care team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

The role requires a valid NC LPN license, current CPR certification, and willingness to serve as charge nurse when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license from NC Board of Nursing (current, valid).
• CPR certification required yearly.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direction of nursing services under RN supervision.
• Delegates duties to nursing staff and monitors performance.
• Observes patients for signs of adverse change.
• Notifies attending physician of emergencies and implements orders as instructed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
