Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school for LPN/RN
• Current unrestricted Florida nursing license (LPN or RN)
• Florida Driver's License with no more than two moving violations in past 3 years
• Able to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Complies with nursing policies and procedures to ensure nursing standards are met.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician's orders and in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Administer medications via all routes, including controlled substances
• Assist clients with health and medical devices (glasses, hearing devices, CPAP, ventilators, etc.)
• Monitor clients for seizures and adverse medication effects and provide nursing interventions
• Notify physician and nursing leadership of health status changes or emergencies
• Maintain charts, assist with quality assurance, and purge charts as needed
• Assist with Respiratory and IV Therapy and with clinical evaluations of medication administration
• Attend meetings and trainings and follow mealtime and transfer procedures
• Possess flexibility to work different shifts, holidays, and weekends for coverage
