Job summary

Adelante Development Center, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a team focused on quality, relationship-based care for individuals with developmental disabilities in New Mexico.

The role features a mostly desk-based schedule (75% desk work, 25% face-to-face), with Monday–Friday hours and one rotating on-call weekend per month. A $1,250 hiring bonus is offered after 90 days and pay is $30.00/hour DOE.

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certified in New Mexico.
At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities (experience with severe/profound disabilities is a big plus!).
Experience with feeding tubes (jejunostomy/gastrostomy) preferred.

Responsibilities

Create personalized healthcare plans that truly support each individual’s needs.
Train and support staff so they feel confident providing care.
Conduct nurse visits and attend medical appointments with clients.
Participate in ISP & IDT meetings, ensuring each person’s voice is heard.
Maintain accurate medication and treatment records to keep care safe and consistent.
