Glenmont Job Corps Center in Glenmont, NY, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Career Technical Training team as a CNA Instructor. This part-time role offers hands-on nursing education to aspiring healthcare professionals.

You will teach essential CNA skills, mentor students, track progress, and help prepare them for certification while upholding patient safety and professional standards.

Formación

• Active, valid New York State LPN license required.
• Professional nursing experience and strong clinical knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach, motivate, and mentor young adults.
• Commitment to student success, patient safety, and quality healthcare education.
• Ability to maintain accurate student records and uphold confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Teach Essential Nursing Skills — Provide hands‑on instruction in basic patient care, safety, infection prevention, and essential CNA skills.
• Prepare Students for Certification — Help students develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to complete their CNA training and pursue certification.
• Mentor Future Healthcare Professionals — Guide and encourage students as they develop professionalism, confidence, and career readiness.
• Monitor Student Progress — Track student performance, maintain accurate records, and provide individualized support to help students succeed.
• Support Career Development — Help prepare students for employment opportunities and future advancement in healthcare.
