Job summary

Job Corps seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant Instructor-LPN to lead classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in New York, preparing students for NY State CNA certification while promoting professionalism and compassionate care.

You will develop engaging lesson plans, teach skill stations, evaluate student progress, and maintain accurate records, collaborating with staff to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or training others in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of NY State CNA curriculum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet New York State CNA curriculum requirements.
• Teach classroom, laboratory, and hands-on patient care skills.
• Evaluate student performance and provide coaching and feedback to support student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and certification records.
• Prepare students to successfully complete certification requirements and begin rewarding healthcare careers.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to ensure student success.
• Incorporate current healthcare best practices and industry standards into instruction.
• Serve as a mentor and positive role model for students as they develop both technical and professional skills.
