Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under supervision, using the nursing process and coordinating with other departments to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license in the hiring state and Basic Life Support certification. New or experienced LPNs are welcome; unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license must be active in the hiring state where duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• New or experienced LPNs welcome.
• Certifications such as ACLS/PALS/PEARS or other unit-specific may be required.
• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift and lifting up to 50 pounds.
