Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is seeking an LPN/CMA to support the Crosby Clinic. The role emphasizes patient assessment, assistance with procedures, and thorough documentation within our primary care clinic.

You will coordinate care among patients, physicians, and teams, schedule tests, and manage follow-ups while maintaining supplies and educating patients about their care in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license from the State of Minnesota or Graduate of a medical assistant program with CMA or CCMA certification within one year of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience for coordinator or specialist roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prepare them for physician consultations; assist with procedures and treatments.
• Document patient interactions and treatments in medical records per clinic policies.
• Coordinate care by communicating with patients, physicians and healthcare teams; schedule tests and manage follow-ups.
• Maintain clinic supplies and educate patients about their care.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatments in medical records while ensuring compliance with clinic policies and state nursing regulations. You will be pivotal in managing the communication between patients, physicians, and other healthcare teams to coordinate care, including scheduling tests and managing follow-ups.
