Job summary

OakLeaf Clinics – OB/GYN in Eau Claire, WI is hiring an LPN, CMA, or CNA to join our expanding team. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flexibility and no weekends or holidays.

Your duties include rooming patients, taking vital signs, med reconciliation, injections, scheduling, prior authorization paperwork, and supporting providers in daily clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, if applicable.
• MA certification or registration (AAMA or RMA), if applicable.
• Graduation from an accredited LPN program, if applicable.
• Active Wisconsin Practical Nurse license, if applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Medical terminology knowledge and patient care notes.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate.
• Multitask with attention to detail.
• Prior Epic experience – Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients
• Facilitate/perform the gathering of patient information and document accordingly
• Assist with office procedures as directed
• Assist with the preparation of equipment and aid clinician during treatment, examination and testing of patients
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Instruct patients and families by phone as directed within scope of licensure or certification
• Greet patients and prepare them for clinician examination
• Screen patients for appropriate information
• Maintains timely flow of patients and complete forms as needed
• Responsible for preparation of exam rooms including re-stocking of treatment areas
• Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Work a flexible schedule within the clinic or department hours based on clinical demand or need.
