Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) seeks a Clinical Technologist Lead to oversee operations in the new New Jersey market opening Early 2027. You will supervise onboarding, training, and performance of Clinical Technologists across multiple clinics, while ensuring compliance and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Current State or Multi-State Licensure as LPN or LVN.
• Minimum of two years of patient care nursing experience; clinical lead preferred.
• Must travel to Alpharetta, Athens, Duluth and Kennesaw clinics.
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA).
• Mastery of infection control, sterile technique, autoclaves, supply management, med safety and EMR documentation.
• Analytical thinking and sound judgement.
• Strong computer EMR skills and ability to manage team activities.
• Dependable with reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Internal candidates must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Act as the SME and oversee Clinical Technologist responsibilities within scope of practice.
• Onboarding, competency assessment, and ongoing training of all Clinical Technologists.
• Travel to assigned clinics as requested by supervisor or Clinical Program Manager.
• Serve as trainer and educational resource for Clinical Technologists; train new hires.
• Provide oversight and final sign-off for new hire Clinical Technologists.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and workflows within scope.
• Assist other staff when not coaching/training to support clinic operations.
• Collaborate on Quality Improvement initiatives with clinical/operational leadership.
• Complete peer chart audits and report to supervisors.
• Coordinate with supply chain to ensure meds and supplies are available.
• Oversee inventory in clinics and report to supply chain as requested.
• Assist with interviews of Clinical Technologists as needed.
• Work with Facility Administrator on feedback sessions and annual reviews.
• Support efficient patient flow using eCW; verify patients, document vitals, rooms, photos.
• Uphold UVVC Core Values and conduct standards; protect PHI per HIPAA.
• Identify risk areas and fill in as Clinical Technologist during staffing shortages.
