Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of licensed practical nurse program.
Active LPN license required.
2+ years primary care experience required.
2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
4+ years primary care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs or coordinates new hire training and post-training assessments.
Facilitates clinical in-service education and remediation.
Participates in performance improvement activities and clinical meetings.
Develops SOPs and pocket guides for clinical teams
Ensures standard work and policies are consistent across sites of care.
Adheres to CDC sterile technique, PPE use and safety regulations.

Job Description

Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Requires full availability for Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Performs or assigns new hire training, conducts post-training assessments, and assists with ongoing clinical in-service education initiatives and remediation.
Participates in department performance improvement activities, attends clinical meetings, follows up on assignments/issues, completes tasks, and reports ongoing performance indicators.
Creates monthly communication tools to update the clinical team on best practices and develops pocket guides, SOPs, and flowcharts for clinical teams to follow in accordance with evidence-based practice.
Leads continuous clinical training across locations ensuring standard work and policies & procedures are consistent across all sites of care.
Follows CDC guidelines for sterile technique and isolation, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand hygiene according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.

Working knowledge of general clinical practices to include principals of primary care, nursing, and laboratory. [Required]
