Job summary

AdventHealth in Calhoun, GA seeks a Clinical Educator to lead orientation, develop courses, and roll out competency programs for clinical staff and students. The role involves coordinating training, creating materials, and ensuring adherence to environment of care standards across regional offices.

Requires experience in healthcare education, on-site work in Georgia, and the ability to travel regionally up to 50%. BLS and LPN are required; RN preferred.

Qualifications

• Instructs clinical orientation, clinical courses, and annual competency sessions.
• Develops and rolls out training materials including competency checklists.
• Coordinates training programs and ensures materials are available prior to, during, and after training.

Responsibilities

• Host training sessions for students in person and virtually including Fast Track Medical Assistant and Clinical Ladder classes.
• Assist with onboarding of student externs, including providing assistance and support for the application and orientation requirements.
• Plan and implement staff education on new policies, procedures, equipment, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other educators to design educational programs with innovative teaching techniques.
• Perform Environment of Care surveys and ensure best practices across region offices.
• Proctor certification exams and coordinate meetings, classes, and events for new hire orientations.
