Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Nashville, TN is seeking a Clinical Assistant to join a fast-paced orthopedic and sports medicine clinic. You will prepare patients, assist providers during visits, and help with education and documentation.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends, holidays, or late nights. Training is provided for the right candidate with interest in orthopedic and sports medicine. Some outreach opportunities at local sporting events may be available for additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• LPN license in Tennessee or medical assisting training preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and their medical records for appointments.
• Assist providers during patient visits.
• Communicate patient concerns and medical information to the provider.
• Assist with suture removal and injection preparation.
• Fit patients with braces and medical equipment.
• Follow provider orders and schedule surgeries and follow-ups.
• Provide patient education in person and over the phone.
• Document patient visits and communications.

DescriptionJ oin our outpatient sports medicine team and work alongside experienced Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.As a Clinical Assistant, you will help provide quality patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic and sports medicine clinic.
