Job summary

Methodist Physicians Clinic - Westroads in Omaha, NE is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support physicians by reviewing records, preparing exam rooms, and handling prescription renewals.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, part-time, 2 days per week. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and LPN license; BLS preferred; phlebotomy experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Previous LPN/medical experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required (Floor only).
• Current LPN license, valid Nebraska license or multistate license.

Responsibilities

• Review records, prepare patients/exam rooms, and handle prescription renewals.
• Document lab results and appointments on tracking forms.
• Perform telephone triage and relay information to the provider.
• Dispense medications as directed and educate patients on use.
• Assist providers and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Support phlebotomy and collect specimens as needed.
