Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System - Methodist Physicians Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support physicians by reviewing records, preparing exam rooms, and handling prescription renewals and inquiries.

The role involves patient and family education, triage calls, and maintaining a clean, efficient clinical environment. LPN licensure and BLS are required, with experience preferred for on-floor pharmacovigilance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience preferred as LPN/medical setting.
• Phlebotomy experience required on floors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and exam rooms; review records and renewals.
• Provide patient and family education per provider instructions.
• Perform telephone triage and document patient conditions.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
• Handle prescription renewals and pharmacy communications.
• Record accurate patient data and ensure correct order entry.
• Assist with patient care across age groups and support lab work.
