Nebraska Methodist Health System seeks a licensed practical nurse for a part-time role at Methodist Physicians Clinic—Westroads. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, 2 days/week, primarily phone triage.

You will monitor patients, document changes, prepare exam rooms, and assist with examinations and education. Required: LPN program graduate, active LPN license (compact acceptable), and 1+ year clinical experience with strong communication and HIPAA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program required.
• Current LPN license valid in the state; compact multistate license acceptable.
• BLS certification preferred at hire or within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage and document patient conditions accurately.
• Educate patients and families on health topics per provider guidance.
• Document nursing assessments and coordinate care referrals.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with examinations and treatments.
• Handle prescriptions inquiries and communicate with pharmacy as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to protocols.
• Provide age-appropriate care and ensure patient understanding.
