Job Description

Under the direction of a clinic nurse, to provide direct and indirect patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. To practice within the scope of the LPN licensure.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or licensed by endorsement as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Currently certified with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
