Job Details

Location: Berkshire Nursing Home & Rehab Center, West Babylon, NY

Pay Range: $35.00/hr - $37.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

1. Ensure proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.
2. Make nursing diagnoses to develop care strategies.
3. Collaborate with residents and healthcare team members.
4. Record medication administration and changes in patient condition.
5. Monitor staff adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
6. Follow procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Experience in long-term care.
2. Current NY State license.
3. Leadership and supervisory skills.
4. Assessment skills to recognize resident condition changes.
5. Ability to coordinate team nursing functions.
6. Accurate documentation skills.
7. Computer skills in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office are a plus.
