Job summary

iCare Health Network is seeking a Charge Nurse for our East Windsor, CT facilities. You will oversee medication administration, treatments, and daily living assistance for residents, coordinating a team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications include an active CT nursing license, at least 1 year in acute or long-term care, and English proficiency. EMR experience is preferred. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are offered with multiple shift options.

Qualifications

• CT nursing license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in acute or long-term care.
• Experience in rehabilitation or behavioral health is a plus.
• English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing) required.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements the optimal achievable quality of care for each resident on the Unit.
• Coordinate, assign, direct and prioritize the work of staff (primarily CNAs) to ensure efficient operation.
• Make independent nursing care decisions and escalate to RN Supervisor as needed.
• Document changes in patient condition, new orders, incidents and report issues to the RN Supervisor.
