Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to support the adolescent health clinic. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by reviewing schedules, checking test results, and ensuring exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Escort patients to rooms, confirm visit reasons, document interviews, and assist with mobility as needed.
• Take and record vital signs accurately, alert providers of abnormal findings.
• Assist providers during exams, anticipate needs, and help maintain schedule flow.
• Document all patient interactions and care activities in the EMR.
