Job summary

Boone Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time day shift. The position involves direct patient care including IV management, under supervision of an RN, with a focus on discharge planning and patient education.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, performing assessments, and contributing to ongoing professional development. Benefits are available from day one, and weekend/holiday coverage is not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• LPN – IV Certification is required.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Implements treatments and procedures within the scope of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.
• Performs patient assessment and evaluation regarding the patient's age and developmental needs.
• Assists in developing and updating the plan of care regarding the patient's age and developmental needs.
• Implements plan of care regarding the patient's age and developmental needs.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
