Boone Hospital Center in Missouri is seeking an LPN to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role features 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m.

– 7:00 p.m.), full-time 36 hours per week with rotating weekends every fourth weekend, and benefits from Day 1. Responsibilities include administering nursing care, assisting physicians, managing supplies, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and Accredited Practical Nurse Program.
• No prior experience required.

• Implements respiratory procedures within the licensed practical nurse scope of practice.

Job Summary

Provides direct patient care activities, utilizing the nursing process, under the supervision of the RN.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician.


• Performs various lab procedures according to set standards.


• Manages inventory of supplies and medications.


• Performs various diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to Implements treatments and procedures within the scope of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse.


• Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides patient teaching and discharge planning.


• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
