Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will review diagnostic results, document care, and assist with planning and discharge teaching while maintaining patient safety and quality standards.

The role requires completion of an accredited LPN program and BLS certification, with less than one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical School of Nursing Program.
• Experience: Less than one year related experience.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills; computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process under RN supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies.
• Maintain and review patient records and physician orders.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient teaching under RN guidance.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
