Descrizione del lavoro

Capital Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will review test results, administer medications and treatments, and assist with care planning and discharge planning while maintaining patient records.

Strong English communication skills are required, along with completion of an accredited LPN program and current credentials such as AHA BLS.

Competenze

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Proficient in English, verbal and written communication; basic computer skills.

Mansioni

Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Reviews diagnostic test results and reports changes to the RN, physician and healthcare team.
Administers prescribed medications, therapies and treatments per LPN standards.
Maintains patient records and documents all care activities.
Assists with discharge planning and patient education.
Participates in performance improvement initiatives and unit-based committees.
