You will review cases, obtain necessary clinical information, and ensure timely documentation in the system. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of utilization review and 3–4 years of diverse clinical experience, with a Maryland/DC LPN license.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the State of Maryland or District of Columbia.
• 1–2 years utilization review experience.
• 3–4 years diverse clinical experience.
• Knowledge of current trends in healthcare delivery and utilization review criteria.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying potential Case Management candidates and make referrals.
• Contribute to department goals while adhering to policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Coordinate care and facilitate pre-certifications and authorizations as needed.
• Interact with providers to obtain clinical information for care coordination.
• Maintain timely documentation in the IS System per Case Management policy.
• Participate in meetings and work groups as assigned.
