Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care to residents under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse.

Daily you will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care, while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication with the care team.

You will support patient comfort, participate in education for staff and families, and adapt to varying scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program.
• ND Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Experience in public health or home health nursing.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a plan of care promoting optimal patient outcomes.
• Participates in meeting the educational needs of co-workers and patients/families, utilizing teaching/learning principles.
• Delegates nursing care based on staff qualifications/competency and patient care requirements.
• Demonstrates flexibility, accepts preceptor roles, teaches/learns new skills, and picks up extra shifts.
• Completes documentation according to policy and timelines.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited school of nursing
• Experience in the area of public health or home health nursing
• Licensed Practical Nurse: ND
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Driver's License: ND
• Auto Insurance
