Job summary
Oxford Senior Living in Kansas City, MO is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) to serve as Care Team Supervisor on a full-time basis, every other weekend. The role includes supervising nursing assistants and medication aides, coordinating care plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
You will provide general nursing, complete service plans, administer medications, and act as a liaison with physicians.
Qualifications
- Board certified LPN/LVN in good standing.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to travel using personal vehicle as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing care and treatment within licensure and state guidelines.
- Perform nursing evaluations/assessments per regulations and policy.
- Complete service plans with resident and family.
- Ensure infection control procedures are followed.
- Assist with move-in/orientation of new residents and agents.
- Administer medications and document results.
- Serve as liaison/advocate for residents with physicians.
- Supervise team by rounds, schedule breaks, and coach staff on service improvements.
- Engage with residents and families to communicate health care services.
