Qualifications

• Level II requires 1 year of practical nursing experience in addition to the license.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing procedures or specialized functions under supervision.
• Evaluates responses to interventions.
• Teaches basic nursing skills and delegates tasks (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP, enema, etc.).
• Assesses, reports, and records health status of patients and groups.
• Develops and implements aspects of a plan of care.
• Administers medications as ordered.
• Reports relevant patient information to supervisor.
• Serves as Charge Nurse on a unit and supervises staff.
