131 Department of Corrections is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to perform technical nursing care under supervision in a correctional health setting. You will take temperatures, pulse, and other vitals, administer medications, and participate in care plans for patients.

Level I/II roles include guidance to others, with duties expanding to full nursing tasks at the higher level. Requires Oklahoma LPN licensure and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing techniques, procedures, and theory.
• Infection control measures and ability to follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Performs nursing procedures and delegated tasks.
• Administers medications as ordered and monitors patient responses.
• Teaches basic nursing skills and participates in care planning.
• Assists in assessing health status of patients and families.
• Serves as Charge Nurse supervising medication administration.
