Parkvistacc is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of STNAs and non-licensed personnel, and coordinate with other departments to ensure the highest degree of quality care.

The role emphasizes adherence to current rules, documentation, medication administration, shift planning, and ongoing staff development.

Qualificações

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is sought.
• Nursing care and supervision of staff implied by role.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of STNAs or other nursing personnel in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms or charts upon resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician; verify resident identity.
• Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
• Lead, educate, counsel, and discipline assigned STNAs, as necessary.
• Review resident care plans daily to ensure appropriate care is rendered and inform supervisor of changes.
