Cardiovascular Institute of the South is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for on-site, full-time work primarily in the Coumadin Clinic, with duties in floor nursing as needed. The role emphasizes Warfarin management, patient monitoring, and collaboration with cardiovascular specialists.

You will provide compassionate nursing care, educate patients and families, and maintain precise documentation to support safe, effective treatment and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold current LPN license.
• Must hold current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing services primarily for the Coumadin Clinic and floor nursing as needed.
• Support cardiovascular physicians, surgeons, nurse practitioners, and other medical personnel in delivering patient care.
• Provide Coumadin/Warfarin monitoring and management according to established clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Maintain medical equipment, supplies, treatment areas, and required records to support safe and effective patient care.
