Job summary

Boone Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care activities including IV management under the supervision of the RN. This full-time role is 40 hours per week on a day shift, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. Benefits begin on the first day of employment, with free employee parking and a 6% match on 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No Experience.
• No Supervisor Experience.
• LPN – IV Certification.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatments and procedures within the scope of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.
• Performs patient assessment and evaluation regarding the patient's age and developmental needs.
• Assists in developing and updating the plan of care regarding the patient's age and developmental needs.
• Implements plan of care regarding the patient's age and developmental needs.
• Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
