Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced LPN to join the 4A Cardiac Unit in Springfield, MO. You will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy Service Standards.

We offer a graduate nurse sign-on bonus of $2,000, an experienced LPN sign-on bonus up to $10,000, and frontloaded PTO up to 40 hours for full-time experienced LPNs. ACLS certification and STEMI-capable unit experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the hiring state.
• Stand/walk most of the time; bending, lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• New or experienced LPNs considered.
• BL S certification through American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: IV Certification.

What makes 4A Cardiac amazing? We are STEMI certified. We take Cardiac Drug Loading patients. All of our nurses are ACLS certified.

4A Cardiac Unit focuses on CHF, Chest pain, drug load, pre CABG, pre TAVR, Angio with stents, BKS, AKA and med/surg overflow patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.

• Physical Requirements/Demands: Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds

• Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

• Preferred Certifications: IV Certification.
