Job summary

Everwell is seeking licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to join our behavioral health treatment team at Springbrook Hospital. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, support therapeutic programming, and promote patient wellness in a psychiatric/substance abuse setting.

Ideal candidates have Florida LPN licensure, CPR certification, and experience in behavioral health. Strong communication and crisis intervention skills are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One year of psychiatric or chemical dependency experience preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral health nursing practices and medication administration.
• Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and document observations accurately.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and health education.
• Support therapeutic interventions and crisis management.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Respond appropriately to psychiatric and medical emergencies.
• Assist with patient admissions, assessments, and discharge planning.
• Provide support and guidance to Mental Health Technicians and team members.
