Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an LPN for our Outpatient Behavioral Health team. You will provide hands-on nursing support, deliver treatments, and work within a collaborative care environment.

The role requires graduation from a state-approved LPN program, Florida license, and BLS certification. Competency assessment is required; IV course may be needed for some specialties. This is a full-time on-site position with day shift.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a state approved vocational/practical nursing program.
• Experience: None required; competency assessment will be completed.
• Certification: BLS from American Heart Association, current for 90 days after hire.
• License: Florida LPN license.
• Other: Good communication, interpersonal, basic computer and customer service skills.

Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00AM to 4:30:00PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $22.34 - $29.04 / hour

Lee Health is seeking an LPN to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health team, providing hands‑on nursing support to patients while helping create a welcoming, supportive care environment. Performs and documents selected tasks such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse. Assist the Register Nurse in collecting health data according to established policies. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patients age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of a state approved vocational/practical nursing program required.

Experience: None required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment.

Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. 30-hour IV Course may be required based on specialty.

License: Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Florida.

Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
