Lee Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for Emergency Services at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL. This full-time role runs 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a pay rate of $22.34 to $29.04 per hour.

The LPN must be a Florida-licensed graduate of an approved program, with BLS and IV knowledge, supporting patient care under RN guidance and collaborating with the care team to deliver efficient, compassionate service.

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: Shift 1/7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.34 - $29.04 / hour

Summary

Performs and documents selected tasks such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse. Assist the Register Nurse in collecting health data according to established policies. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patients age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of a state approved vocational/practical nursing program required.

Experience: None required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment.

Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. 30-hour IV required.

License: Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Florida.

Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
