Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our assisted living community in St. Charles, IL. The role supports residents with licensed nursing services, medication administration, and care planning during part-time shifts.

The LPN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document care, respond to emergencies, and provide education to residents and staff. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment with hourly rates between $35 and $38.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Practical Nurse in Illinois.
• 1+ year experience in senior care or related field.
• CPR certification required.
• Good English communication to perform duties and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications for residents in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with admissions including assessments and documentation.
• Develop acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• Track clinical data (wounds, infection control) under direction.
• Provide health-related consultation to residents and staff.
• Notify physicians or family of health changes with proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and ensure safety.
• Communicate with all departments and staff regularly.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with discharges and clinical documentation as needed.
