Job summary

The LPN position with AIMS Locum Tenens supports the Dunham U.S. Army Health Clinic (DAHC) at Carlisle Barracks, PA, and related clinics. You will provide nursing care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with exams and procedures in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, infection control, and responding to urgent situations under supervision. Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience and an active license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Board-approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, full, active LPN/LVN license.
• Minimum 1 year of practical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide assigned nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Observe patients and report/document relevant information.
• Administer prescribed medications via multiple routes (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, IV).
• Perform prescribed treatments and assist with examinations.
• Educate patients and families about their care.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Assist providers during exams and monitor patients before/during/after.
• Identify urgent conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Maintain infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Assist with orientation of peers and ancillary staff.
