Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an LPN to support patient-first care in a Monday–Friday role from 7:00am to 5:00pm, with potential extended hours and occasional floating to Westside locations. The primary site is the Westlake Medical Office Building, where you will collaborate with RNs and physicians to deliver high-quality care.

The role emphasizes completing nursing assessments, documenting data, and educating patients and families, while adhering to safety and care protocols within the Cleveland

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm. Extended hours may be required based on facility needs. Floating to Westside locations may be required. The main stationary facility is Westlake Medical Office Building.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing


• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)


• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of patient care experience

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good hand-eye coordination, involves extensive standing walking and occasional lifting.


• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.


• Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.


• Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.


• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.


• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $23.25

Maximum hourly: $33.50
