Job summary
Are you looking for a nursing career where you can grow your skillset and make a lasting impact in your community? Sanford Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide quality, holistic care in our Southpointe Clinic in Fargo. You will work 7:00am–5:00pm with 1:1 pairing to a provider, under supervision of a RN, APN or physician.
We offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time and part-time staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- North Dakota IV therapy requirement: graduation from Board approved AASPN program with IV therapy or IV Therapy course approved by the ND Board of Nursing.
- Unencumbered LPN license and/or multi-state licensure privileges; maintain required competencies and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients.
- Documents a thorough medical history from patient.
- Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
- Provides technical support to healthcare professionals.
- Counseling patients and family on prevention and treatment plans, under RN supervision.
