Responsibilities include administering injections under physician supervision, maintaining the shot room, managing inventory, charting patient vitals, and assisting with triage calls. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of medical office experience required.
• LPN certification required; CPR certification required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of EHR software packages.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
• OSHA standards compliance knowledge.
• Prior allergy/immunology or outpatient clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shot room: appearance, stock, and supplies; restock as needed.
• Notify Manager for Buy & Bill inventory for patient appointments.
• Clean and sterilize instruments; maintain diagnostic equipment.
• Administer allergy and biologic injections under physician supervision.
• Log daily refrigerator temperatures and organize vial storage.
• Monitor monthly vial inventory and discard expired vials.
• Educate new patients on shot room policies and obtain signed consent forms.
• Observe 20–30 minutes post-injection; record vitals and reactions.
• Know all shot room medications and IT treatments.
• Check emergency meds monthly and reorder as needed; manage emergencies.
• Triage and manage patient and MD calls; update charts accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned by Senior Clinical Manager.
