Job summary

Village Behavioral Health in Louisville, TN is seeking a part-time LPN/LVN to provide nursing care in a psychiatric residential setting for adolescents. This role focuses on patient safety, care plan implementation, and collaboration with the medical team.

The position offers casual work attire, shift differentials, and opportunities for growth within a supportive, compassionate environment. CPR and de-escalation training are provided during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• 1+ year nursing experience in the facility's clinical area is preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Model customer service and maintain urgency for patient safety.
• Collaborate to meet patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs; address complaints.
• Provide basic comfort and implement care plans individualized to patients.
• Apply interventions to progress toward wellness and address maintenance of wellness.
• Discuss care with patients, report status changes to RNs and doctors.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

1+ year nursing experience in clinical area of service
