Job summary

The Behavioral Wellness Center is seeking a dependable and professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Goldman Clinic team in Philadelphia. This part-time role focuses on outpatient addiction treatment and behavioral health care, with daily nursing responsibilities in a multidisciplinary setting.

Schedule includes every Friday and every other Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, onsite at 100% on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current, active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Successful completion of required orientation and organizational certifications.
• At least one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Psychiatric nursing/behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies within the LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing and clinical staff.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Follow medication administration, infection control, and patient safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, counselors, and other treatment professionals.
• Provide guidance to behavioral health support staff as appropriate.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.
• Respond appropriately to patient care needs and behavioral health concerns.
• Participate in required training and professional development.
• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.
