Job summary

Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, Montana is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Acute Care team. You will provide direct patient care under RN direction in a Critical Access Hospital environment, with exposure to ER, ICU, Med/Surg, OB, Pediatrics, and more.

This full-time role offers rotating day/night shifts every 6 weeks, three 12-hour shifts, weekend and holiday rotation, and a starting wage of $26.14 per hour with available differentials and opportunities for growth and

Qualifications

• Current Montana LPN license or compact multistate license required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred for advanced care settings.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering quality nursing care consistent with physician orders and established standards.
• Monitoring patient status and reporting changes promptly.
• Administering medications and treatments.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Assisting with development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Supporting patient and family education efforts.
• Participating in emergency and urgent care situations as needed.
• Promoting patient safety and infection prevention practices.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Assisting with delegation and oversight of support personnel activities.
